Here’s the lowdown on what we ordered:
🔹 Szechuan Kung Pao Chicken
🔹 Classic Three-Cup Chicken
🔹 Deep-Fried “Old Skin” Tender Tofu
Every set meal comes with three side dishes (cabbage, braised tofu, and pickled radish), a bowl of radish soup, and steamed rice. Heads up: the portions are massive! You definitely won’t leave hungry.
The Szechuan Kung Pao Chicken is a total flavor bomb. It’s got a serious kick to it, but it’s that “can’t-stop-eating” kind of spice. The meat is incredibly tender and it’s basically a “rice killer”—you’ll be asking for extra bowls. Seriously, this is a must-order!
The Three-Cup Chicken was another winner. The sauce perfectly coats every piece of chicken, making it super savory and aromatic without being overly salty. The roasted garlic and green onions in the sauce really take it to the next level.
And don’t even get me started on the Deep-Fried Tender Tofu. I’m a sucker for egg tofu, and this one was spot on. The crispy “old skin” outside soaks up all that delicious sauce, while the inside stays silky smooth. One bite of tofu, one bite of rice… pure perfection.🫶🏻
