Listen, I’ve been around the brunch block, but this spot that opened last year is hitting different. Hui Food isn’t just a morning thing—they stay open until 8 PM. If you’re craving pasta, they serve it all day on weekdays, and after 5 PM on weekends.
Honestly? The entire menu is a “no-skip” zone. I spent the whole meal with my thumbs up because everything was just that good. The brunch platters are loaded with sides, and the chicken thighs? Absolute units—super thick, incredibly juicy, and seasoned to perfection.
The French toast and rye bread are elite, but we need to talk about the shredded hash browns. They are officially the best I’ve had in Taichung so far. Period. Also, that chicken burger—the bun is toasted to perfection and that truffle sauce with the fried chicken is a total core memory.
I’m already planning my second trip back. If you’re in Taichung, do yourself a favor and get here ASAP.
